Gorditas is all about serving satisfying Mexican food, made for sharing and packed with flavor. The family’s food story began decades ago, when Israel’s father-in-law became one of Dallas’s early street-taco vendors. Since then, the family has served millions of tacos across the Metroplex, bringing their love of great food to racetracks, stadiums, arenas, and local festivals. Today, that same passion continues at Gorditas on Harry Hines Boulevard.

As taco shops spread across Dallas, the family took a different approach and made gorditas the star. Each one starts with handmade masa, shaped into a thick corn pocket and filled with your favorite ingredients. Since opening Gorditas about nine years ago, the restaurant has built its menu around these signature favorites, alongside quesos, burritos, tacos, and tostadas—all bringing bold Mexican flavors to Harry Hines Boulevard.
